Чёт и нечет
На неделе разразилась бурная полемика, хотел ли заместитель мэра Москвы Петр Аксенов поиграть с машинами в чёт-нечет ([url=http://www.mk.ru/numbers/2464/article86675.htm]предложение[/url], [url=http://echo.msk.ru/news/344371.html]опровержение[/url]).
По итогам этого я задумался: а где сейчас в мире применяется такой метод, машины с четными номерами ездят по одним дням, с нечетными - по другим? Википедия на этот счёт [url=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Traffic_regulations]безмолвствует[/url].

Mexico City implemented no-drive days during periods of extreme air pollution. Under this rule, a car could only be used every other day, depending on whether the license plate had an odd or even number. When the duration of these restrictions increased, many wealthier households bought second cars to use those days. Most of these cars were cheap, older, high-polluting cars. The policy has since been dropped.
